Wash Laundry

Now that I have covered the daily and routine parts of my son's planner, I will move onto the tasks that don't happen every day (occasional tasks).  The first one is washing laundry. 

There is so much I could say about washing laundry and the little steps to consider but I will try and keep this information simple to begin with.  I have a sequence of steps I complete to do laundry and I taught these steps to my son. My son lives on his own and washes his laundry twice a week.

🧺 Sort light and dark clothes 

🧺 Put lights OR darks into the washing machine

🧺 Use detergent AND fabric conditioner

🧺 Run the washing machine cycle

Again there are YouTube tutorials on washing laundry and it's worth asking people you know what their laundry routine is to get ideas.  A washing machine should come with some instructions but if not, you can usually find the instructions online.  Is this similar to your laundry routine?  If not, how do you wash your laundry?  Please share your ideas in the comments below.
